About Us

We’re the team behind Kenya’s most practical financial calculator platform. No fancy corporate speak here – just honest tools that help you figure out your money.

What We Do

We build calculators that actually matter to Kenyans. Whether you’re calculating M-Pesa fees, figuring out your loan payments, or planning your next chama contribution, we’ve got you covered.

Here’s what you’ll find on our site:

  • M-Pesa calculators for fees, savings, and transfers
  • Loan calculators for banks, SACCOs, and mobile lenders
  • Investment tools for government bonds, fixed deposits, and unit trusts
  • Tax calculators for PAYE, VAT, and business taxes
  • Budget planners tailored for Kenyan lifestyles

Why We Started This

Most online calculators are built for American or European markets. They assume you’re dealing with dollars, have perfect credit scores, or live in countries with stable currencies.

That doesn’t help much when you’re in Nairobi trying to figure out Equity Bank’s loan rates or planning your retirement with NSSF.

So we built something different. Tools that understand shillings, Kenyan tax brackets, and how things actually work here.

Our Story

We started in 2023 when our founder got tired of manually calculating M-Pesa charges for his small business. What began as a simple fee calculator grew into something bigger.

Today, thousands of Kenyans use our tools every month. From university students budgeting their HELB loans to entrepreneurs calculating VAT returns, we help people make sense of their finances.

What Makes Us Different

We speak Kenyan: Our calculators understand local banking products, government schemes, and mobile money services. No converting dollars to shillings or wondering if that American mortgage calculator applies to your KCB home loan.

No fluff: We skip the marketing speak. Our tools give you straight answers without trying to sell you insurance or investment products on the side.

Actually free: Everything works without signing up, sharing your phone number, or watching ads. We believe financial tools should be accessible to everyone.

Built for mobile: Most of our users are on smartphones. Our calculators work perfectly on that cracked screen you’ve been meaning to replace.

Behind the Scenes

We’re a small team based in Nairobi. Our developers understand Kenyan banking because they use the same services you do. They’ve stood in KCB queues, dealt with Safaricom customer care, and know exactly how frustrating it is when financial math doesn’t add up.

What’s Next

We keep adding calculators based on what people actually need. Recent additions include chama calculators, boda boda loan tools, and VAT calculators for small businesses.

Have an idea for a calculator we should build? Drop us a message. If it helps Kenyans manage money better, we’re probably interested.

A Quick Note on Accuracy

Our calculators use official rates from CBK, banks, and government sources. We update them regularly, but financial products change fast in Kenya. Always confirm final numbers with your bank or service provider before making big decisions.
